On one fine day of June 24, 1994, fans of the most iconic band of all-time, The Beatles, rejoiced around the world as the remaining original members came around and gathered for a final reunion to work on the Beatles Anthology as well as to reminisce their journey and their moments together.

The anthology was a documentary series that revolved around the Fab Four, and that reunion at Friar Park was definitely a treat to their audience. They were originally gonna perform “Let It Be,” one of their most notable tracks, but to no surprise, they brought more to the stage by performing their old songs.

After a memorable performance, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison sat around and had a talk about their life being The Beatles. From Starr’s first moments with the band and who’s sharing the bed with whom, to how the iconic Beatles mop-top haircut came to be and their quick hitchhiking adventures to Spain and Paris.

Starr said:

“At the beginning when I joined, Paul was the only one who’d sleep with me.”

Harrison responded:

“I was never very prejudiced. No, I thought that was the best move, really. Because when you joined and you were like, the new fella. nobody, and I thought well, if I hang out with you then they’ll be like, you know, so I thought it’d be good to put Paul with him because it would be all right.”

The three musicians feasted merrily on the nostalgia and exchanged laughs story after story as their curtain call finally came to an end. McCartney then added:

“So it was kind of good, you know. So, it’s great. You sort of staying in a room with a friend of that and seeing his habits. I mean, you stayed up late, didn’t you? You couldn’t sleep so you’d always have the light on. So you’d have to, you know, you have the light over there and you’d have to sleep this way… It was good though, you get to know each other.”
