Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Doobie Brothers just announced a new album titled “Liberté”, which arrives on October 1. It’s their 15th full-length album, and was produced and co-written by John Shanks. They previewed the upcoming LP by releasing a four-track EP, which is currently available on all streaming platforms. The four songs are “Oh Mexico,” “Cannonball,” “Don’t Ya Mess With Me,” and “Better Days.”

The band will also embark on their highly anticipated 50th anniversary trek, which will kick off on August 22 at Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, Iowa. It will run through June 30, 2022 at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario. The lineup features Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons and John McFee along with singer Michael McDonald. They’re performing on tour together for the first time in almost 25 years.
