1. Jonathan Taylor Thomas
Jonathan Taylor Thomas, or “JTT,” became a household name as Randy Taylor on Home Improvement. His charm and bright smile won over fans, but his acting didn’t always rise above his good looks. While he had a successful run on the show, his later attempts at serious roles didn’t quite stick.
Outside of voice work in The Lion King, JTT found it challenging to transition to adult roles. His acting career faded as his teenage fan base grew up, revealing that his appeal was often more about charm than range.
2. Luke Perry
Luke Perry’s role as Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210 turned him into a teen idol overnight. His smoldering looks and “bad boy” persona made him a fan favorite, though his acting was often limited to that brooding character. Perry struggled to break away from his iconic role.
