Stranger Things Stars Millie Bobby Brown Announce Engagement to Bon Jovi’s Son

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown spark rumors of engagement with her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi.
On Tuesday, April 11, the 19-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram of her laughing in the arms of her boyfriend of two years wearing what appears to be an engagement ring. She wrote in the caption a line from Taylor Swift’s song, “Lover,” saying:
“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all”
While 20-year-old Bongiovi posted a separate shot of him and Brown on his own Instagram at the same time with the caption: “Forever,” followed by a heart emoji. Neither of them mentioned they were engaged, but their friends and fans took the posts as hints of an announcement.
The couple has been dating each other since 2021. When asked how did they meet, Brown said in an interview:
“We met on Instagram, and we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?”
Brown rose to fame as a child star for the Netflix hit series, while Bongiovi is not new to the limelight himself. The actor is one of Jon Bon Jovi’s four children. His acting career is just starting, appearing with the upcoming HBO Max film Sweethearts and recently landed his second major acting role in a new coming-of-age film Rockbottom.
Meanwhile, as Stranger Things prepare for its fifth season, Brown seems ready to move on with the series. She said in an interview with Seventeen:
“I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up.”
