Steven Tyler returns and rocks the stage at the Hollywood Palladium. Steven Tyler surprised everyone, performing Aerosmith’s classic hits in the concert hall. The rock icon was accompanied by an all-star ensemble that featured Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, Matt Sorum, Mick Fleetwood, and Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton. Fans were thrilled as Tyler delivered six Aerosmith songs, along with other hits at his Janie’s Fund Grammy viewing party.
Long-Awaited Return for the Aerosmith Frontman
Fans celebrated Tyler’s comeback to the stage, particularly after Aerosmith’s final tour was canceled in 2023. The band had to put the tour on hold for a full year after Tyler sustained a vocal cord injury after only three performances. However, Steven declared he couldn’t travel again when the new dates drew near, formally ending Aerosmith’s touring career.
Tyler has been largely out of the spotlight since his injury, but played “Mama Kin” with The Black Crowes last spring, marking a brief return to the spotlight.
Tyler’s Setlist At the Hollywood Palladium
Tyler kicked off the night with Mick Fleetwood and Nuno Bettencourt, performing Extreme’s popular track, “More Than Words.” Before singing, he told the crowd, “One of my favorite songs in the whole fucking world.”
From there, he turned up the energy, launching into Aerosmith’s “Toys in the Attic”, followed by a powerful “Dream On” a duet with country star Lainey Wilson. Tyler continued to rock the night for fans with “Sweet Emotion”, “Walk This Way”, and an electrifying cover of the Led Zeppelin track “Heartbreaker” to close out the show.
