“Theres only one Jimi Hendrix, there will never be another one. I just do my best to do what I can to cary his music on.”
Over the last few decades these two incredible guitarist have been compared countless times. Stevie says it best, there is only one, Jimi. Not to mention, there is only ONE Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Although Stevie admits to never seeing Jimi live, he says he has seen and met him in his dreams. He describes one dream as sitting few feet from Hendrix, while taking turns showing each other guitar parts. Stevie says he woke up and immediately went to go grab his guitar to try to imitate what Hendrix had shown him, and his guitar wouldn’t work.
