Slash Plays Tribute To Lemmy
We still can’t believe Lemmy is gone. It hasn’t sunk in all the way yet. But with the passing of the legendary hard-rock singer came an awesome tribute from another rock legend: Slash. We found a very cool clip of the Guns N Roses famous guitar player paying tribute with this “Ace of Spades” cover. On New Year’s Eve, Slash and company played the song which was captured by an audience member as you can see in the footage below.
Lead vocalist Lemmy Kilmister died on December 28th, 2015 after a short fight with an “extremely aggressive cancer”. So aggressive that he was diagnosed just 2 days prior to his death.
Slash and Lemmy had also partnered up in the past on a track called “Doctor Alibi” back in 2010 as you might recall.
