For Love At First Sting!

“Rock You Like a Hurricane” was written by Rudolf Schenker, Klaus Meine, and Herman Rarebell. It was released in 1984 for their album “Love at First Sting.” This hard rock track dominated the charts and has become a timeless classic. Over the years, it has received plenty of exposure from films to commercials and even video games. If you play Grand Theft Auto, then I’m certain you’re very familiar with this track!

In our interview with Scorpions guitarist Rudolf Schenker, he said: “I think ‘Rock You Like A Hurricane’ is a perfect Rock anthem, which talks about attitude and sexuality. It’s very important to recognize the tension between the verses and the chorus. — SongFacts
