Sammy Hagar didn’t dodge the topic when a fan recently brought up the rising cost of entertainment in Las Vegas.
The exchange happened on Instagram, where a follower commented:
“We could use a CD/DVD. Just saying.”
Hagar responded with honesty and a bit of humor about the cost of these Sin City shows. He wrote:
“My friend I totally get it. I am shocked myself when I go out to dinner or just a drink at the bar.
“Vegas has gotten really expensive. But I must admit there’s no place like it. It’s fcking on. 24 seven I guess that’s what we’re paying for. Hope to see you somewhere.”
The Residency That’s Rocking Vegas
Hagar’s current residency, The Best of All Worlds Stays in Vegas, is running at the Dolby Live venue inside Park MGM from April 30 through May 17. According to Park MGM, base ticket prices start at $59 (before fees), but resale site Vivid Seats shows a wide range—from $45 all the way up to $2,300 for premium spots.
Why Vegas Prices Are Climbing
Hagar’s experience isn’t unique. Las Vegas has become a hotbed for big-name residencies, and with that popularity comes a shift in pricing. Venues are offering tiered ticket structures—giving fans choices, but also reflecting the rising cost of entertainment in the city that never sleeps.
A Smarter Touring Strategy
Before kicking off this residency, Hagar performed a string of shows at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino earlier in 2025. The prices were similar, showing a trend among veteran artists to balance reach and revenue while staying rooted in a single city.
Hagar is one of many artists who are adapting to the changing live music scene by playing at more than one place in Las Vegas. They keep the energy high and the fans coming back for more. Hagar is still committed to the show, even though the prices have gone up.
