At 10 years old, Japan’s Ryuga Uchida defines the word “prodigy”; his drumming skills have earned him accolades literally from one end of the world to the other, and there isn’t a drummer alive that’s heard of him – or at the very least, heard him play – that hasn’t tipped their hi-hat to him in respect. That’s how fantastic this kid is!

This performance features Ryuga launching into a killer 6-minute drum solo that highlights every single drum influence he’s ever had – from Tony Royster, Jr. to Travis Barker, there’s nothing that Ryuga can’t do when he’s behind his kit.

Possibly the most stunning part of this entire performance is the fact that his energy seems almost limitless! Not once does he stop to take a deep breath or wipe his face – no, Ryuga keeps going for the duration of the solo with a level of energy that’s almost terrifying in someone so young.
