Good things come to those who wait and at long last, the wait is over: Lynyrd Skynyrd’s own Gary Rossington and his wife, Dale Krantz-Rossington, are back as Rossington and boy, do they have something special in store!

This week sees the release of the duo’s brand new album Take It on Faith, their first batch of new music together since 1988’s Love Your Man; boasting a veritable who’s who of studio masters that includes the talents of legendary producer and engineer David Z, Reese Wynans on organ and vocalists Bekka Bramlett and Vicki Hampton, Take It on Faith is hailed as a heartfelt, soul-grabbing labor of love for Gary and Dale and with the gorgeous “Take It on Faith” kicking things off as the first single from this 12-track delight, we’re inclined to agree.

Paired with a gorgeous music video that sees Dale at home sorting through decades of photos from her journey through life with Gary at her side, “Take It on Faith” highlights the uncertainty of life and how by just taking it all on faith, even the moments designed to test and challenge your faith the most will mold you into something far greater than you could ever imagine. The video wouldn’t be complete, of course, without Gary and his guitar taking their rightful place next to Dale as she sits at her piano, looking on lovingly as he delivers some seriously outstanding guitar work that perfectly highlights the quiet strength in Dale’s voice.
