Fans of The Beatles Are NOT Gonna Be Happy!

In 1964, The Beatles made music history by having 5 songs in the top 20 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Those songs were “Can’t Buy Me Love”, “Twist And Shout”, “She Loves You”, “I Want Hold Your Hand”, and “Please Please Me”. This is a record that’s been held by The Beatles for 54 years, and it seemed like no artist or band would be able to break it. Then along came Post Malone!

Post Malone just released his new rap album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’ which now has 9 songs currently in the top 20 of the Billboard 100 chart, not to mention that all 18 songs off of the album are currently in the top 100 with three in the top 10, “Psycho”, “Better Now”, and “Rockstar”.

The album achieved a massive 47,930,039 Spotify streams on its first day of release which certainly helped Post Malone achieve this milestone.

Though Post Malone may have broken the record, it certainly doesn’t take away from The Beatles’ achievement all those years ago. Like I said, Spotify streams play a huge part in calculating the success of the song(s). Still, it’ll be interesting to hear Paul McCartney and/or Ringo Starr’s take on this!
