Greta Van Fleet shocked the crowd at the Pinkpop 2022 on June 17 with their amazing performance of “The Weight of Dreams” and “Highway Tune.”

Lead singer Josh Kiszka belted his high notes on the two songs, while his twin brother and lead guitarist Jake Kiszka gave an outstanding guitar solo during the “The Weight of Dreams.”

Recently, Greta Van Fleet gave a hint of what to expect on the album they’re currently working on. The young rockers have had a great touring year, opening for Metallica for several shows. They’ve also successfully kicked off their own headlining tour with a variety of different supporting acts.

Their upcoming album will be dubbed as Pretty Far Into, and they claimed that it will not sound like what they’ve become best known for. Rather, the tracks on the album will be more similar to what they’ve created during their days as a garage band. Bassist Sam Kiszka said:

“Now it’s time to get creative and figure out something different, because we always wanted to make that album — we always wanted to make Garden’s Gate, and we did it.

“We’re pretty far into it, and I can’t say a lot about it, but it’s like the whole concept of kind of going back to almost the roots of what we did. Kind of bring our heads back to that garage time, and not spending all this time making it perfect, but just capturing what’s going on and embellishing it and making it exciting and raw.”
