Peter Frampton Expands U.S. Tour Schedule with Additional Dates

The tour is set to kick off on November 9th in Louisville, Kentucky, and will conclude on November 22nd in Nashville, which holds special significance as Frampton’s hometown.

Expressing his gratitude and excitement, Frampton took to social media to thank his supporters who attended the Never Say Never tour this summer.

He wrote:

“I wanted to thank all who came to the Never Say Never tour this summer. I can’t thank you enough for your love and encouragement at every show! I’m just a glutton for enjoyment and hope you can see us!”

Peter Frampton embarked on his Never Say Never tour in June, surprising many as he had previously announced a farewell tour due to his diagnosis of inclusion body myositis (IBM), a muscle-degenerating disease.

However, as he shared with UCR earlier in the year, he continues to feel well enough to hit the road.

Explaining his change of plans, Frampton stated:

“I’m allowed to change my mind — that I wanted to quit while I was ahead and could still play at the top of my game. And things have slipped a little, but my band said, ‘What are you talking about? We can’t notice any difference.’ So I said, ‘Well, I know,’ because of the choices that I would make in an ad-lib solo, which is what I do all night. My choices are different, but they’re not worse. It’s just a different way of playing. It’s challenging — I love a challenge, and it’s almost more enjoyable.”
