Peter Frampton has unveiled a fresh series of tour dates leading up to his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in October.
Dubbed the Positively Thankful Tour, the journey kicks off on September 8 in North Charleston, South Carolina, and concludes on September 23 in Northfield, Ohio. Frampton expressed gratitude in a press release, stating:
“It’s been an incredible year for me and my band so far. First the nomination, then you guys voted like crazy and got me into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Come September, we’ll be back out for nine more shows on the Positively Thankful Tour.”
This tour follows Frampton’s Never Ever Say Never Tour, which wrapped up in April. Diagnosed with inclusion body myositis (IBM) in 2019, a muscle degenerative condition, Frampton initially embarked on a farewell tour to mark the conclusion of his storied career on the road. Reflecting on his decision to continue performing, he shared in 2023:
“I’m allowed to change my mind — that I wanted to quit while I was ahead and could still play at the top of my game.”
