Tour Return to Stage
This year, Paul Simon returned to performing. He brought his A Quiet Celebration tour to more than fifty cities in North America. Now he will take the tour back on the road in Europe this spring. The well known singer and songwriter plans to play twenty one shows on the continent. These dates support his most recent album, Seven Psalms, released in 2023.
This will be Simon’s first set of performances outside North America in eight years. In 2018, he said that his retirement was “less a goodbye than a farewell.” Tickets for the European dates go on sale next week.
Past and Present
Simon first rose to fame as part of the duo Simon & Garfunkel. Over the years, his work has earned praise from critics and fans around the world. Songs like “The Sound of Silence,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “Graceland” have made his name known to many.
He took long breaks from touring at points in his life. Even after his announcement in 2018 that he planned to stop regular tours, fans hoped he would return. Now, with the European dates, those fans have the chance to see him again live.
