A video of Paul McCartney performing “Hey Jude” in Mexico City circulated online.
Last November 14, Paul McCartney performed at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City as part of his Got Back tour. The aforementioned tour marks McCartney’s first time performing in Mexico after six years. McCartney performed several classics of the Beatles including the chart-topping 1968 classic “Hey Jude.”
In a fan-filmed video, McCartney was seen preparing to play his piano. When the crowd cheered at him, he said:
“That’s too loud, much too loud.”
The video of McCartney’s full performance of “Hey Jude” is uploaded on YouTube. McCartney uploaded some of the event’s photos on his social media account saying “Los Mexicanos son los mejores!,” which means “Mexicans are the best!”
Foro Sol, on the other hand, also posted a few short video clips from the concert on Instagram while McCartney was performing “Hey Jude,” “Something,” and “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
The Beatles star will wrap his 2023 tour with a series of eight concerts in Brazil that will start on November 30 and is set to end on December 16. Check out the fan-filmed video below.
