Ozzy Osbourne shares that he hopes to record a whole new album before getting back on the road to play more concerts.

Following his last successful spinal surgery, the Prince of Darkness wants to make a new solo album in 2024. Osbourne tells Metal Hammer:

“I’ve had all the surgery now, thank God.
“I’m feeling OK. It was just dragging on. I thought I’d be back on my feet months ago; I just couldn’t get used to this mode of living, constantly having something wrong.”

Osbourne can’t walk properly yet but is thankful “not in any pain anymore, and the surgery on my spine went great.”

Talking about his future plans, Osbourne said:

“I’m getting myself fit. I’ve done two albums fairly recently [2020’s Ordinary Man and 2022’s Patient Number 9] but I want to do one more album and then go back on the road.”

In the first episode of the new Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy and his wife Sharon revealed that he would undergo a fourth operation as well as get an epidural injection. His years-old injuries from his ATV crash in 2003 and his fall in 2019 led to the rocker’s retirement from touring. He was forced to pull out in July of the Power Trip festival set for October this year.
