Ozzy Osbourne is set to perform at the halftime of the Los Angeles Rams NFL season opener taking place at the SoFi Stadium on Thursday, September 8.
Attendees will be treated to a multi-song medley from the Prince of Darkness while viewers at home will see a portion of his performance on NBC and Peacock during halftime. Osbourne’s upcoming guest appearance comes before the day of the release of his much awaited thirteenth studio album, Patient Number 9, coming out this September 9.
Patient Number 9 will be released through Epic. The album includes guest contributions from a number of big acts, such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi, Zakk Wylde, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, Mike McCready, Robert Trujillo, Chris Chaney, producer Andrew Watt and the late Taylor Hawkins.
Recently, the rocker surprised everyone with his appearance at the final performance of the 2022 Commonwealth Games on August 8. During the show, Osbourne sang the Black Sabbath hit âParanoidâ with his former fellow bandmate Tony Iommi. Osbourne and Iommi also dropped âDegradation Rulesâ together on July 22, which is the second single from Osbourneâs new album.
Meanwhile, Ozzy and his family are moving back to their 120-year-old home in Berkshire and have listed their $18 million L.A. home. Ozzy is building a studio on the property where he plans to continue making music and a new reality TV show with his family.
