Ozzy Osbourne gave an update on his health in the most recent Ozzy Speaks segment on SiriusXM. Since postponing his performance as the festival’s headlining act at Power Trip, this is the first time he has talked openly about his health problems.

When asked about his current health status, Osbourne shared that he’s going through some challenges. He recently had a filter removed to address blood clots in his legs. The filter was placed in his artery to prevent the clots from reaching his heart and brain.

Despite the procedure sounding serious, Osbourne reassured that it wasn’t as bad as it may seem. Unfortunately, things haven’t been going smoothly, and he expressed his frustration by saying:

“It’s just disappointment after disappointment. Just get this thing fucking done so I can go get on with my life.”

Osbourne had to postpone and cancel a number of performances over the previous few years, including the Power Trip Festival, due to several health issues. In early 2019, he battled the flu and pneumonia; in October 2020, he dealt with the problems of the coronavirus pandemic; and in November 2021, he dealt with the uncertainty surrounding events with full capacity and travel arrangements.

The rocker’s health situation has led to disappointment and disruptions in his concert schedule, but he remains hopeful for a full recovery and is looking forward to resuming his performances once he is back in good health.

As a result of Osbourne’s current condition, Judas Priest will now be taking his place at the Power Trip festival, scheduled to be held in Indio, California, from October 6th to 8th at the Empire Polo Club.
