Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic Black Sabbath legend, is contemplating a return to the stage for two final concerts in his hometown of Birmingham. Despite a series of health setbacks, the 75-year-old musician expressed his desire to bid a proper farewell to his fans.
Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife, and manager shared insights about his potential comeback during her “Cut The Crap” tour, which includes stops in Birmingham and London.
Speaking about Ozzy’s intention to perform two final shows
“He won’t tour again, but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like ‘I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly’.”
The chosen venue for this special farewell is expected to be Aston Villa, located in Ozzy’s hometown. Sharon emphasized that Ozzy’s vocal abilities remain impeccable despite his time away from the stage. She added:
“His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he has been off, he still does his singing lessons, so his voice is perfect. And he can joke, yeah.”

Furthermore, Sharon highlighted Ozzy’s enduring creativity, stating:
“He has all these melodies in his head. Even if you don’t like his music, you can’t not like Ozzy; he just draws you in.”
This announcement comes after Ozzy’s previous health challenges, including a serious fall in 2019, which led to a series of surgeries.
Despite these setbacks, Ozzy has maintained his commitment to music and expressed his plans to release a new album in conjunction with a live comeback.
“I’m getting myself fit,” Ozzy shared in a 2021 interview. “I’ve done two albums fairly recently (2020’s ‘Ordinary Man’ and 2022’s ‘Patient Number 9’) but I want to do one more album and then go back on the road.”
While Ozzy’s journey has been marked by health obstacles, his determination to bid a proper farewell to his fans showcases his enduring passion for music. Whether or not these two final concerts materialize, the prospect of Ozzy Osbourne’s return to the stage adds a poignant chapter to his legendary career.
