Exciting news for fans of the iconic rock band HEART! Nancy Wilson, a prominent member of HEART, recently revealed in an interview with Long Island’s rock station 102.3 WBAB that she and her sister, Ann Wilson, are joining forces for a thrilling musical collaboration.

Nancy, currently touring with her new band NANCY WILSON’S HEART, shared her enthusiasm for their joint creative venture while discussing her ongoing recording projects.

One of these exciting projects, titled “Tomboy,” involves covering songs written by her male friends, showcasing her unique musical perspective.

Nancy expressed, highlighting her eagerness to dive into their joint musical endeavors after the tour. Equipped with a new studio in her home, Nancy is gearing up to explore fresh musical horizons alongside her sister.

“I’ve got a bunch of new ideas for songs. But I’ve also been writing new music with Ann too. So it’s a real creative time.”

When asked about the distinctiveness of their upcoming work, Nancy shared:

“Some of the stuff I’ve been working on with Ann is like that. [It’s] closer to what you would have heard us originally do in the ’70s, late ’70s. So it’s really fun. It’s just exciting and inspiring.”

This revelation hints at a return to their roots, reminiscent of the music that endeared them to fans during the early years of HEART.

The collaboration has also allowed Nancy to reconnect with Sue Ennis, a collaborator from their HEART days, amplifying the creative energy surrounding their new projects.
