Jaafar Jackson is set to step into the shoes of his iconic uncle, Michael Jackson, in an upcoming biopic that delves into the life and career of the legendary “Thriller” singer. Jaafar shared a glimpse of his preparation on Instagram, striking the famous toe-stand pose associated with Michael. The film, produced by Graham King and Michael Jackson estate co-executors John Branca and John McClain, is slated to commence filming next week. While details about the release date and the extent of Michael’s life covered in the biopic remain undisclosed, Jaafar’s portrayal has already received praise from Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, who expressed joy in seeing him carry on the Jackson legacy of entertainment.

The King of Pop, with 13 No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, left an indelible mark on the music industry before his passing on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50.
