Metallica just recently shared a pro-shot video of their performance of classic “Battery,” which was filmed at their latest concert at Estádio Couto Pereira in Curitiba, Brazil on May 7.

“Battery” is taken from the band’s third studio album Master of Puppets released on March 3, 1986. The album was the band’s commercial breakthrough release and the final album of Metallica to record with bassist Cliff Burton. Burton’s final performance was in Stockholm, Sweden, at the Solnahallen Arena on September 26, 1986, the day before his death.

The video performance was shot during the band’s fourth stop on their South American tour, which kicked off on April 27 in Santiago, Chile. The six-concert series wrapped up in Belo Horizonte on May 12.

The group will be seen next performing at Major League Baseball’s San Francisco Giants’ 8th annual Metallica Night at AT&T Park on May 24 before playing two US events at the Bottlerock in Napa Valley, CA on May 27 and Boston Calling on May 29. They also have a number of European dates scheduled for June and July.

Metallica also announced early this year their upcoming performance on two summer stadium shows: Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, New York on August 11, and PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 14. Both shows will feature special guests Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills. Go to Metallica’s official website for more info.
