It’s Beautiful!

This is a refreshing take on a Janis Joplin classic. According to one of the writers Kris Kristofferson, the first time he heard her version was after she died. He listened and was moved to tears. Every time he played the song, he would break up. Well perhaps we can all relate to that feeling. It was raw, soulful and touching.

“‘Bobby McGee’ was the song that made the difference for me. Every time I sing it, I still think of Janis.”

Several other musicians have recorded their own renditions — The Grateful Dead, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Melissa Etheridge and Pink — and we’ve seen numerous covers by other artists BUT you should see this acoustic duo. She sounds so good. It’s the kind of music you put in on rainy days, when you just wanna stay in bed all day wrapped up in blankets with a great song on max volume.
