Due To Gary Rossington Recent Heart Procedures

If you’re a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan and was looking forward to going to one of their up-coming concerts in Colorado and New Mexico (Dec 4th & 5th) , you’re going to be heart-broken.

As you know, Gary had suffered a heart attack just a couple months ago, and is also recovering from a few recent heart procedures undertaken. Because of this, ‘Skynyrd has decided to cancel their remaining 2015 tour dates which are 2 shows.

Please keep him in your prayers! He is the only surviving member of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd band.

Their Facebook states:

“After further evaluation and continued treatment by his doctors Gary Rossington is taking the remainder of 2015 off from touring to concentrate on recuperating from his recent heart procedures. Lynyrd Skynyrd will be canceling or rescheduling the remaining two shows in Loveland, Colorado at the Budweiser Events Center on December 4 and Mescalero, NM at the Inn of Mountain Gods Casino on December 5. Full refunds will be provided at point of purchase or thru the box office. Lynyrd Skynyrd will commence touring in 2016 and looks forward to seeing the fans next year.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd expects to return to tour in 2016 and we wish him a speedy recovery from everything that has happened and hope to see him back on tour, rockin’ n rollin’.
