Listen To John Lennon Cover Queen Songs

via Stevie Riks / Youtube
All ears here. Listen to this remarkable 1980 recording of Queen songs by the late Beatles icon, John Lennon.
The summer before Lennon passed away was a productive phase for the late singer. During that time, the Beatles icon was busy as a homemaker and a father to his family, he was in Dakota recalling some special memories in his life while he was having fun singing some of Queen’s classics.
Posted below, Lennon’s medley of “You’re My Best Friend,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Love of my Life,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” and the legendary “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Chances of watching luminaries performing songs by other legendary artists are rare. Although in this video Lennon screwed up bits of the humorous and adorable “Bohemian Rhapsody,” he nailed the acoustic guitar version and added some exquisite tunes from the original as a return. Lennon’s jovial voice and the 4-minute medley with cats purring in the background will probably be the best thing you’ll hear.

“I would imagine Freddie feel proud hearing John singing his songs. Do you think John could’ve crossed path and write songs with Queen?”
“A pity they didn’t collaborate, but this is the next best thing. Cheers.”
