It’s Quite An Eclectic Mix
Even as he’s staying at home and practicing self-isolation, Dave Grohl still finds ways to keep himself busy and connect with fans at the same time. He recently put together a pandemic playlist which is an eclectic mix of tracks that represents every quarantine mood. Songs from Alice Cooper, The Cars, Smashing Pumpkins, and Patsy Cline made the cut.
Writing for The Atlantic, the Foo Fighters frontman shared: “In order to get through this difficult period (and I truly believe that we will get through this, in time), it is important to recognize the many stages of isolation and anxiety, and to pair them with appropriate musical accompaniment.”
Whether you’re still in the preparation stage (stockpiling pasta and toilet paper), or currently nesting, or even taking up a new hobby – there’s something here for everyone. Grohl also prepared songs for those who are feeling claustrophobic, anxious, hopeful, or teetering on the edge of panic. You can check out his playlist below.
With the coronavirus crisis, cities are on lockdown and several businesses are closed. And not everyone is okay with isolation. It’s a challenging time for everyone so reach out to your family and friends virtually and check on them. We’re all in this together.
