KISS, who is supposed to be performing dates in Canada as part of their Farewell tour starting November 21, has announced that they will be canceling their scheduled shows as co-founder Paul Stanley is having a hard time recovering from the flu.
The band previously announced that their November 21 show was canceled due to “an unforeseen illness in the band party.” Eventually, the band also canceled their November 22 show in Toronto, which was supposed to be the last part of the Canada leg.
In a social media post, Stanley apologized to their fans. The KISS member is seen to be lying in the bed with an IV drip. The post stated:
“Toronto And Ottawa… I’ve done everything possible to get onstage and be a part of the incredible 2 1/2-hour celebration we planned but this flu has made it impossible. I along with Gene, Tommy, and Eric couldn’t be more disappointed and send our deepest apologies.”
Since the Canada concert dates are now canceled and will not be rescheduled, ticket holders can get refunds from their points of purchase. It is set to conclude on December 2 at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. Meanwhile, Fans are still waiting for the band’s announcement on whether the Knoxville, Tennessee November 24 show will push through.
