Star-Packed Benefit Concert Brings Together Kevin Costner, Modern West, Pat Benatar, and George Thorogood
The annual One805LIVE! charity concert is returning in 2026 with an expanded two-day format and a lineup that organizers say reflects the event’s continued growth. Actor and musician Kevin Costner will perform with his band Modern West, joining previously announced artists Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo, and George Thorogood for the September fundraiser.
Scheduled for September 25 and 26, the performances will again take place at Costner’s oceanfront property in Summerland, California. The event raises money for Santa Barbara County First Responders, continuing a mission launched after the devastating Montecito debris flow in 2018.
Artists Unite for First Responders
All performers donate their time, making the concert a major charitable effort supported entirely by volunteer participation from musicians and organizers. Since its founding, One805LIVE! has focused on providing resources for emergency personnel, including funding for equipment purchases and wellness programs.
Costner has played a central role in the event’s development. A longtime Montecito resident, he hosts the gathering at his home each year and remains closely involved with the nonprofit’s activities. His band, Modern West, formed in 2007, blends country and Americana influences and has toured extensively. Their recent project, Tales From Yellowstone, features music connected to the television drama series.

Established Names Headline Expanded Event
Joining Costner are Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, whose partnership has produced decades of chart success and more than 36 million records sold worldwide. The duo’s career includes four consecutive Grammy Awards and a catalog of well-known rock hits that continue to draw multigenerational audiences.
Blues-rock performer George Thorogood also returns to the stage, bringing more than five decades of touring experience. Known for songs such as “Bad to the Bone” and “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” Thorogood remains recognized for energetic live shows that blend classic rock and blues traditions.
Two-Day Format Broadens Reach
Organizers say extending One805LIVE! into a two-day event allows them to reach a wider audience while increasing financial support for local emergency services. Roughly one-third of attendees are First Responders invited as special guests, a tradition meant to recognize their service while strengthening community ties.
The expanded schedule also enables the nonprofit to welcome additional members of the emergency response community and generate greater proceeds for mental health services and wellness initiatives designed specifically for those working in high-stress public safety roles.

Continued Growth and Future Announcements
Music supervisor Alan Parsons, OBE, will once again oversee the musical programming, helping shape the event’s artistic direction. Organizers have indicated that more performers will be revealed in the coming months as planning continues for the September weekend.
With its growing lineup and broader format, One805LIVE! continues to combine live music with charitable fundraising, drawing both performers and audiences together in support of Santa Barbara County’s First Responders.
