Ozzy Osbourne is being replaced by Judas Priest as the headliner at the Power Trip festival.

The much-awaited festival is set to be held on Oct. 6-8 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, most popularly known as the home of Coachella. It’s the only scheduled concert of Judas Priest for this year so far.

Earlier this year, Osbourne posted a teaser video for the festival along with AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Metallica. Although the Prince of Darkness previously announced his retirement from touring, he clarified his openness to perform occasionally.

However, on Monday Osbourne released a statement that he would be pulling out of the festival due to his health. He explained:

“My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward.

“Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed.”

The rocker also mentioned Judas Priest as his “personal friends” and promised that fans “will not be disappointed.”

On the other hand, Judas Priest posted a tweet saying:

“Power Trippers, are you ready for some Judas Priest style heavy metal?
“We are ready to raise double horns way up high together keeping the metal faith at this ‘bostin’ one of a kind Power Trip world event!”

Other rock acts scheduled to perform at the Power Trip festival are Guns N’ Roses and Tool.
