Count Jon Bon Jovi among the rock stars exploring innovative avenues for their music, including the possibility of hologram or avatar tours.

Recent years have witnessed technological advancements allowing certain acts to maintain a stage presence through hologram concerts, notably exemplified by ABBA and Ronnie James Dio. Additionally, Kiss made waves by unveiling plans to continue as a virtual band comprised of avatars following the conclusion of their End of the Road farewell tour.

When questioned about the potential for his group to embrace similar technology, Bon Jovi expressed an open-minded stance. “I don’t think I’m opposed to anything like it yet,” the singer disclosed in an interview, reflecting on the evolving landscape of performance technology. “I don’t know if the technology’s there.”

Contemplating the concept further, Bon Jovi remained receptive, stating, “I don’t mind the idea of images of us being out there for people to go and enjoy.” He emphasized that he does not view this as a negative development, suggesting that the enduring appeal of their music transcends conventional performance formats.

Irrespective of whether Bon Jovi ultimately opts for avatars, holograms, or other innovative approaches, he harbors confidence in the timeless quality of his band’s music. “Those songs will live on,” he affirmed, predicting their enduring popularity in various settings, from karaoke bars to radio sing-alongs.
