May She Rest In Peace
Guitar and rock legend Jimmy Page is mourning the death of his ex-wife Patricia Ecker, who passed away at 58 years old. The cause of death has not been publicly announced but it was reported that she died last month.
Page was married to Ecker from 1986 to 1995,and she worked as a model and waitress. They had one son together born in April 1988, James Patrick Page III.
The Led Zeppelin guitarist wrote on social media, “It is with great sadness that I learned of the tragic death of Patricia. My thoughts are with her family through this difficult time. My son James is a strong, brave, intelligent man and he has all my love. I ask that you respect us all at this incredibly hard time.”
Ecker met Page in 1986 while she was working as a waitress at a New Orleans restaurant and he was on the road with British rock supergroup The Firm. Page called it “love at first sight” and so at the end of the tour, Ecker traveled with him to London where they got married just a few months later.
