Jimmy Buffett’s Palm Beach Home For Sale For $7.25m

Another of Jimmy Buffett’s sunshine-filled homes in Palm Beach is now on the market for $7.25 million. This charming and relaxing three-bedroom residence, built in 1925, is conveniently located just a short walk from the beach. Though not overly large, the home offers a sense of privacy with its tall hedges and white picket gate. Buffett originally bought the property in 2002 for $802,000.

A standout feature of this property is the detached building currently used as a recording studio, making it ideal for a working musician like Buffett. Potential buyers could repurpose this space, but for those with a musical bent, it is an enticing aspect of the home.

Buffett passed away in September of last year. Reflecting on his life and legacy, his wife of 46 years, Jane Slagsvol, wrote:

“The smile that Jimmy beamed at you from the stage was sparked by your spirit. I think that’s why he loved performing so much. He was so grateful to the community you built around him. Your sympathy and support inspire and comfort me and my family.”

One of the last songs Jimmy recorded was “Bubbles Up,” in which he sings, “Just know that you are loved / There is light up above / And the joy is always enough / Bubbles up.” Slagsvol shared:

“Jimmy knew he was loved. Right until the end, he looked for the light. Thank you for giving joy to him and to me.”

Buffet’s beautiful Palm Beach home is filled with fond memories of the singer and reflects his love for a simpler life. Its unique features also show how he lived his life fully off-stage.
