Along With Louis Armstrong and Mozart
The next installment to the Bill & Ted franchise titled Bill & Ted Face the Music will include several famous musicians appearing on the big screen. Filming already begun in July and some of the characters featured in the movie are Jimi Hendrix, Louis Armstrong, Mozart, and Ling Lun. There might also be other historical figures like Gandhi.
Over 25 years after Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves will reprise their roles as Bill and Ted. Reeves spoke about the script during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show last year. He said:
“Basically, they’re supposed to write a song to save the world and they haven’t done that. The pressure of having to save the world, their marriages are falling apart, their kids are kind of mad at them, and then someone comes from the future and tells them if they don’t write the song it’s not just the world, it’s the universe. So they have to save the universe because time is breaking apart.”
Actor DazMann Still, known for his work in The Last O.G. and Bull, will play the iconic guitar legend. While there’s no definite release date yet, the movie will most likely hit the theaters on August 2020.
