Jake E. Lee, the former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, has opened up about the shooting incident that happened last week near his Las Vegas home. While walking his dog late at night, Lee was shot three times in what was initially described as a random attack.

Previously, Lee revealed that the shooter had emptied an entire clip, leaving 15 shells at the scene. “I could only dodge so many,” he said, explaining that one bullet hit his forearm, another his foot, and a third entered his back, breaking a rib and damaging a lung.

Thankfully, Lee is now out of the hospital and recovering at home. Fans and artists shared their well wishes for Lee upon hearing the news. He took a moment to thank fans for their concern and expressed his gratitude to the medical staff who cared for him.

Lee Recalls Incident With Robbers

Recalling the night, Lee shared more about the encounter. “Coco (his dog) and I were walking home when we crossed paths with a couple of thieves. They were dressed in dark clothing, hoodies, and masks, checking out a neighbor’s motorcycle,” he said.

A verbal confrontation followed after, with both parties agreeing to walk in opposite directions. “That didn’t work out,” Lee added, saying he’ll share more details once he’s feeling better.

Full Recovery Expected for Jake E. Lee

At 67, Lee is expected to make a full recovery, although the incident left him with serious injuries. The shooting took place at around 2:40 a.m. on October 15. A neighbor who heard the gunshots rushed to help, calling 911 and running outside with a gun. Luckily, Coco was unharmed during the ordeal.

Local authorities are still investigating the incident, but Lee’s fans are relieved to hear he’s on the mend and in good spirits.
