Ringo Starr recently appeared on The Late Show and in this remote interview, he participated in Stephen Colbert’s “Colbert Questionert.” While we’re very much interested in his answers, what caught our attention early on is how Starr STILL doesn’t look his age. For the record, he’s already 80 years old and is turning 81 this July 7.

And yet, we don’t know what kind of sorcery this is or if he somehow lucked out and found the fountain of youth but he looks like he stopped aging at 40. If you don’t believe us, then all you have to do is check out the video and see for yourself.

We have a few theories as to why Starr looks youthful and vibrant. Maybe it’s because he seems like a happy-go-lucky fellow who doesn’t take things too seriously and doesn’t sweat the small stuff. Or maybe it has something to do with his diet. Like what he revealed to Colbert in the same interview, he was asked what he thinks is the best sandwich. The Beatles drummer replied simply, “Cheese”.

He admitted that he loves cheese but as of the moment, he limits himself to the consumption of goat cheese. Why? He said, “I don’t eat anything from the cow.”

So maybe that’s the secret, folks. And in case he’s planning to sell skincare, we’re sold.
