A live album of the late icon, Jimi Hendrix will be released in music stores soon. The upcoming album will be dubbed as, Los Angeles Forum: April 26, 1969 and is due on November 18.

The album contains live performances of the original lineup of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Hendrix on guitar and vocals, Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums. Initially recorded in 1969 during spring time. The whole record was produced by Janie Hendrix, the guitarist’s sister; John McDermott, manager of Hendrix’s music catalog; and Eddie Kramer.

Hendrix was described by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as “arguably the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music.” He joined the Jimi Hendrix Experience in 1966 that was formed by ex-Animals bassist Chas Chandler. Although the band’s career only lasted under three years, they were able to bag three successful studio albums and four top 10 singles.
