They’re Moving The Show At A Later Date

Foo Fighters’ touring schedule was once again derailed by coronavirus. Following a string of successful gigs, their upcoming show at The Forum in Los Angeles has been postponed due to a confirmed case of Covid-19 “within the Foo Fighters organization.” They were slated to perform on July 17, but it will now be moved to a later date which they have not yet announced. All tickets purchased would be honored for the new date which they will post “shortly”.

“Despite having made every effort to follow CDC Covid protocols and local laws, there has been a confirmed Covid-19 case within the Foo Fighters organization,” the band said in a statement posted on Twitter. “Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety and the band, crew, and — most of all — the fans, Saturday’s show at the Los Angeles Forum is being postponed to a later date.”

They didn’t reveal who tested positive for Covid-19.

Like their reopening of Madison Square Garden with 15,000 vaccinated-only attendees, this would have been The Forum’s first full-capacity concert post-pandemic. Foo Fighters recently released a 10-minute clip titled The Day The Music Came Back which documented their sold-out show at MSG.
