Stewart Copeland is offering you a chance to be his tenant at a cost of $25,000 every month. The drummer from The Police has put his spacious home in Montecito, California up for rent. This nearly 2,400-square-foot house is estimated to be valued at slightly over $6 million, as per It was sold for $4.75 million in 2021.

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom Spanish-style bungalow provides renters with a location just minutes away from the ocean. Despite its upscale surroundings, the house itself doesn’t give away its famous owner – you won’t find any Police memorabilia or drum-related decorations. Instead, it exudes a vibe of relaxed comfort rather than wild rock ‘n’ roll.

Copeland’s Montecito Home Amid Celeb Neighbors identifies Copeland’s residence as Casita De Mariposa or the “butterfly house.” It’s situated in the Lower Village area of Montecito, neighboring homes owned by Rob Lowe, Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah Winfrey. The home itself combines a mix of “California cool and modern farmhouse styles,” featuring a spacious kitchen, marble bathrooms, and an outdoor space complete with a pool and jacuzzi.

The property is adorned with lush gardens, majestic oak trees, and trailing vines that wind around the patio columns, according to A beautiful tiled pool and spa complete the picturesque setting.

Stewart Copeland, born in 1952 in Virginia, had a nomadic childhood before settling in England, where he later formed The Police in 1977 alongside Sting and Andy Summers. Copeland is presently touring to promote Police Deranged for Orchestra, an album of orchestral renditions of The Police’s songs.
