The Eagles have announced the additional six dates to their farewell tour, The Long Goodbye.

Steely Dan will join them as the opening act. The Eagles’ final trek will kick off on Sept. 7 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The band has now added second shows to six locations: New York, Boston, Denver, Indianapolis, Atlanta and St. Paul. Tickets will start to go on sale on July 14 at 10 a.m. local time.

The Eagles previously said in a press release:

“The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe; keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds.
“Credit and thanks go to our longtime management team, our dedicated road crew, and our exceptional backup musicians for providing skilled and steadfast support, throughout these many years. We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful.”

Fans can expect to see the legacy members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey on the band’s lineup. Deacon joined in 2017 after his father and Eagles co-founder, Glenn Frey passed away. He left the band in 2022 but returned two months later for a pair of shows.
