Dusty Hill Switching Between Guitar And Keyboard For ZZ Top’s Summer Tour

The Show Must Go On…
Back in April, ZZ Top was forced to postpone some of their shows because of Dusty Hill’s injury after he fell backstage and dislocated his shoulder. Although he’s better now, he’s still going through rehab but nevertheless ready to go back on the road for their summer tour which will go all the way through November 12. But because of Dusty’s “roughed-up shoulder,” the band announced in their Facebook page that he will be swapping between his electric guitar and bass keyboard.
But then again, longtime fans of the band know this isn’t the first time the boys had to endure concert and touring setbacks. If you can still recall the ‘accident’ on Dec. 16, 1984, Dusty shot himself in the stomach. In 2014, he had to undergo surgery for the removal of two kidney stones. And let’s not forget the time he had a nasty slip inside their tour bus thereby causing his hip injury.
Hoping for a speedy recovery, Dusty. We can’t wait to see you back on stage!
