Duff McKagan Release New Single “I Saw God On 10th St.”

Duff McKagan has released his new solo single, “I Saw God On 10th St.”
The track is featured on the Guns N’ Roses bassist’s upcoming solo album Lighthouse which is set to be released on October 20. McKagan said about the song:
“I picture him as an old guy with white beard and hair, leaning up against a wall on a city street.
“The ultimate jurist of us all. Pissed off, squinting eyes to ward off what he sees, spitting frequently with no care for who may be around. The Creator. God. Allah, Shiva… or whomever. I think I see him sometimes over on 10th St., hands in tight fists, and toes curled up and tense.”
Most recently, McKagan has released a three-track EP titled This Is the Song to raise awareness for mental health during the month dedicated to it. In a press release, McKagan revealed that the title track was written during a panic attack.
While Guns N’ Roses’ will embark on their North American tour kicking off on August 5 in Moncton, NB at Medavie Blue Cross Stadium. On August 21, they are scheduled to perform at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, and on August 24, they will be playing at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois. The tour concludes on October 16 in Vancouver, British Columbia, at BC Place.
According to reports, the band is also currently in the process of creating a new studio album. It will be the first released under the name Guns N’ Roses since Chinese Democracy in 2008. Additionally, it will mark the first time since 1993 that Axl Rose, Slash, and McKagan collaborated on a record together.
