Dead & Company Reveals Las Vegas’ Sphere for a Six-Week Summer Spectacle

Dead & Company is set to take over Las Vegas’ Sphere with their upcoming six-week summer run, aptly named Dead Forever. The residency, featuring 18 shows, is scheduled from May 16 through June 22, promising an unforgettable experience for fans of the Grateful Dead spin-off band.

Six Weeks of Awesomeness

The gigs, running every Thursday through Saturday, will showcase never-before-seen visual storytelling from Dead & Company. This promises an immersive connection to the music through innovative shows, adding a unique touch to each performance. The band’s reputation for psychedelic musical wanderings will be on full display with a distinct setlist for each weekend’s shows at the 20,000-capacity state-of-the-art venue.

The Sphere, known for its eye-popping visuals on the world’s highest resolution warp-around LED screen, has been captivating audiences during the ongoing U2 residency. U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere shows began in September and are set to conclude on March 2.

Dead & Company, comprising Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir, drummer Mickey Hart, along with John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, and Oteil Burbridge, formed in 2015. Though co-founder drummer Bill Kreutzmann departed in 2023 before the band’s “final tour” last summer, the current lineup continues to carry the torch.

To ensure Deadheads have a fair shot at tickets, advance presale registration is available now. It’s important to note that advance registration does not guarantee tickets. The artist presale is scheduled to start on Monday, February 5, at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the general onsale on February 9 at 1 p.m. ET. Tickets, starting at $145 (inclusive of taxes and fees), offer fans the chance to be part of this exceptional musical experience.
