In less than two weeks, David Lee Roth released another studio live rendition of a classic Van Halen song.

Following the “Panama” which featured Al Estrada on guitar, Ryan Wheeler on bass and Francis Valentino on drums, this time, the rocker released his rendition of “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love.” Roth initially got those tracks from their May 3 session at Henson Recording Studio wherein he played 14 songs in two hours.

And according to a reliable source, the recordings are “all live and it’s Van Halen free. No samples. No Auto-Tune.” When Roth was being asked about the prospective Van Halen tour after announcing his retirement last October, the singer said:

“There’s always a tomorrow for a singer, not so much for a trombone player these days.

“How many times did Rocky retire? Seven. I think number three was my favorite. How many times did Rambo have to come out of retirement in order to make the sequel?”

Formerly, the singer planned to do a farewell Las Vegas residency then took it back and scrapped all of the dates in January. Although, Roth stayed busy since then. He did release a pair of singles, the melancholy piano ballad “Pointing at the Moon” and the heartfelt Eddie Van Halen tribute “Nothing Could Have Stopped Us Back Then Anyway.”
