One of the most exciting announcements was about a farewell DVD and album from Whitesnake’s last tour.

Coverdale expressed his enthusiasm for the band’s performances, highlighting the incredible talents of the musicians involved, including Tanya O’Callaghan on bass, Dino Jelusick, two keyboard players, and two guitar players, along with the exceptional drummer Tommy Aldridge. Coverdale emphasized the emotional connection with the audience and the intention to capture that essence in the upcoming recording.

Regarding the farewell album, Coverdale disclosed,

“I’m soon to be talking with my band about the idea of a farewell Whitesnake studio album and to invite some former members to participate to make it more complete.” He mentioned reaching out to former bandmates like Adrian Vandenberg and Doug Aldrich, as well as current members like Michael Devin and Joel Hoekstra, expressing his admiration for their talents and emphasizing the collaborative nature of the band.

Coverdale’s plans suggest a grand farewell not just to the current chapter of Whitesnake but also to the talented musicians who have contributed to the band’s rich history. With the promise of former and current members collaborating on this farewell project, fans can expect a celebration of Whitesnake’s iconic journey, marking the end of an era in a spectacular musical fashion.
