Dave Grohl has been making headlines lately, and this time, it’s not just about his music.
The former Nirvana drummer was recently spotted in Encino, California, running errands without his wedding ring. At 55, Grohl’s life has taken a dramatic turn after revealing he fathered a child outside his marriage to longtime wife Jordyn Blum, 48. Just weeks after this admission, he was seen sporting a casual look with a black T-shirt, khaki trousers, and a baseball cap, but his wedding band was clearly absent.
Standing By Him
Despite the backlash, Grohl has found support from unexpected places. His ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Finch, a member of the punk rock band L7, is reportedly standing by him. According to Jennifer, he’s “doing everything he can for his family” and “giving it his all in spite of the messy situation.”
Grohl, who shares three daughters—Violet Maye (18), Harper Willow (15), and Ophelia Saint (10)—with Jordyn, made a heartfelt confession on Instagram about becoming a father for the fourth time. He shared, “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.” He also expressed his commitment to being “a loving and supportive parent” while striving to earn back the trust and forgiveness of his family. He concluded his post by thanking the public for their “consideration toward all the children involved” as they navigate this new chapter together.

While Jordyn has yet to speak out publicly about the affair, she was also seen without her wedding ring a few weeks before Grohl’s announcement. Sources close to the couple reveal that she has known about the new child “for a while.” One insider noted:
