Carlos Santana Announces Las Vegas Residency

Carlos Santana will perform a series of dates at the House of Blues as part of his Las Vegas residency.
A series of spring dates (May 17, 19-21, 24 and 26-28) will kick off Santana’s residency, An Intimate Evening With Santana: Greatest Hits Live, while the recently revealed fall dates have been recently added (Sept. 6, 8-10, 13 and 15-17, plus Nov. 1, 3-5, 8 and 10-12.)
Santana has been a resident of this city for 11 years. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Milagro Foundation, which Santana and his family founded in 1998 to support underrepresented children and youth in the arts, education, and health.
In 2021, Santana had to forgo a portion of his Las Vegas engagement due to an unanticipated heart operation. He said at that time:
“I’m going to be taking time out for a little bit to make sure I replenish and I rest and catch up with my health so that when I play for you I would play the way I’m used to and give you 150 percent.
“I wouldn’t show up unless I can do that.”
Recalling what happened in a concert he performed in July last year, the guitarist passed out onstage and was rushed to a local hospital. A representative later stated that he had been “overtaken by heat exhaustion and dehydration” but was doing well. Thus, the postponement of six concerts after the advice of medical professionals, who recommended that the musician gets rest to recuperate fully.
