So as you know there was a lot of controversy earlier this month when Anheuser-Busch launched a marketing campaign with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney. This sparked a lot of backlash from people such as Kid Rock, which his video of shooting boxes of Bud Light went viral. Also other conservative artists such as Travis Tritt announced he won’t have Bud Light on his tour anymore.

And if you didn’t notice, Anheuser-Busch took a dip in the market after all this going on.

But it looks like they decided to try to win the hearts of perhaps a lot of conservative followers that they lost by launching a very patriotic, country, middle of America commercial called “The Spirit”.

If you just read the comments online, you will get a true sentiment of how people truly feel about all of this. With many comments saying that they don’t drink Bud Light anymore. Was the Mulvaney partnership the right move? Bud Light definitely got more attention if that’s what they were going for, but negative.
