Bruce Springsteen recently decided to postpone all of his upcoming shows for September due to health issues.

The statement released on behalf of the singer and the E Street Band reads:

“Mr. Springsteen is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and the decision of his medical advisors is that he should postpone the remainder of his September shows.”

While The Boss wrote his message to his fans on X (formerly known as Twitter) saying:

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows.
“First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve been having a blast at our U.S. shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon.”

The postponed dates include shows on Sept. 7 in Syracuse, New York, a stop in Baltimore, two shows in Pittsburgh, as well as dates in Uncasville, Connecticut, Albany, New York, Columbus, Ohio, and Washington, D.C.

As Springsteen goes to treatment, his remaining next scheduled performance will be on Nov. 3 in Vancouver. Fans with tickets to the postponed shows “will receive information regarding rescheduled dates.”

Springsteen kicked off his 2023 tour in February with the E Street Band and it is set until December this year.
